It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph R. Schiersing (Alden, New York), who passed away on November 12, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Ann Schiersing (Harrison); and his sister Elizabeth Schiersing. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Jane Litchard (Ed), Joseph R. Jr., James M. (Gail Kurtz), Jean M. Becker (Roger R.), John R. (Pam) and Jeffrey J. Schiersing (Dawn); and his siblings, Shirley Rimbeck (Joseph), Donald (Gladys), Robert (Janet) and Richard. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
