He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Sheehan (Bower); and his brother John "Jack" Sheehan. He is survived by: his children, James B. III (Renee), Ruth Neyman (George), Maureen Neyman (Robert), Suzanne Swimline (late Edwin), Dennis (Donna), Patricia Babin (Bradley), Brian and Karen Sheehan; and his nephew Michael Sheehan. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great and 2 step grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Legion Post #1377, Alden, NY.
