He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Butler and Ann Butler; his siblings, Kenneth (late Wanda), Alan Butler and Marie Brown (late Lou); and his grandchildren, Abigal Roberts, Justin Balducci and Declan Roberts.
He is survived by: his wife Marian Butler (Balistieri); his children, Michelle Bliss (Bob), Sheryl Bialoglowicz (Joe), Anne Marie Davis, Alan (Robin), Teresa Roberts (Mike Rushok) and Patti Runge (Mike); and his grandchildren, Shawn Bliss, Shannon Roberts (Jason), Vincent Balducci (Chandra), Kim Davis (Jim Abell), Ryan Davis (Katelyn), Mary Davis (Tory Hurtubise), Alec Roberts (Stephanie Latoszek), Derek Roberts, Jared Roberts (Emma Cansdale), Madysen Roberts, Jennifer Hejmanowski (Ryan), Jeremy Butler (Andrea), Evan Fix, Braeden Fix, Michael Gage, Selina Rodriguez (Miguel), Michael Kozlowski (Mykayla), Zach Runge, Perrin Runge, Emma Runge and Krystal Lynn. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Charles Meyer Funeral Home (13228 Broadway, Alden, NY 14004). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's RC Church (2021 Sandridge Rd, Alden, NY 14004).
