He was predeceased by: his wife Dolores Clement (Dottie); his son Victor Ross Butcher (Annette); his parents, Clyde Easy Butcher and Janet Ella Ingersoll Butcher; and his siblings, Denzil I. Butcher, Albert T. Butcher and Violet Butcher Pickup.
He is survived by: his daughters, Anita Ray (Stephen), Deanna Cotton (Joseph) and Linda Powell (Josef); and his brother Donald E. Butcher.
