He was predeceased by: his parents, William Grimes and Margaret Grimes (Wooster); and his siblings, Mildred Southcott (Eddy), Gordon Grimes (Cleo), Don Grimes (Elsie), Alice Bropst (Harry), Jean Marek (Frank), Joyce Peruzzini (Albert), Dorothy Merrill (Dick) and Geraldine Dillon (Donald).
He is survived by: his brother Gordy Grimes; his wife Joanne; his children, Teresa Grimes (Rocco Caporicci), Theodore V. Grimes, Thomas Grimes (Holly), Todd M. Grimes (Sue Fugate) and Tracy Gilbert (Joel); his grandchildren, Mitchell, Sonya, Amanda, Marisa, Amber, Theo, Jessica, Spencer, Adam, Joel and Matthew; and his great grandchildren, Amari, Carter, Gavin, Drew, Sophia, Grayson, Lexie, Weston, Owen, Todd, Bryson, Payton, Harper, Mackenzie and Claire. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
