He was predeceased by: his wife Daisy Lee; his daughter Lenora; and his granddaughter Tomeko. He is survived by: his children, Lee, Elizabeth, Patricia, Brenda, Rose, Vera and Saul Jr. (Connie); and his grandchildren, Michael, Stephanie, Rodrick, Ocie Bennett Jr., Demetrius Bennett, Frederick, LaShonda, Grandville Jr., LaTisha, John Smith Jr., Laisha, Jamaur and Noah. He is also survived by great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
