He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Furness and Elvira Furness (Wright). He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Michael Furness, Dawn Gaylord (Bob), Tim Furness (Theresa) and Sue Chadwick-Brettle; his grandchildren, Kristina Nesbitt (Shane), Sarah Collyer (Justin), Jason Gaylord, Keri, Madelyn, Isabella Furness and Katie Brock (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Owen, Brody, Kendyl, Kinsley and Sutton; his siblings, Kenneth Furness (late Judy), Julia Bragg (DeForest), Nancy Coyle (Ronald) and Annmarie Gonyeau (David); and his sisters-in-law, Madge Doty (William) and Midge Warren (late Charles). He is also survived by 4 step-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gaines Carlton Community Church.
