She was predeceased by: her parents, Geoffrey Symonds and Mary Symonds; her brothers, Victor, David and Willard Symonds; her husband Hiel E. Whittier; her sons, David H. Whittier and Geoffrey L. Whittier; and her grandson Scott Whittier.
She is survived by: her son Hylan R. Whittier; her brother Brian Symonds (Donna); her daughters-in-law, Connie Whittier (David) and Joan Whittier (Geoffrey); her grandchildren, Kellie Spychalski (Ron), Thad Whittier (Kim), Kevin Whittier (Sarah) and Rene Whittier; her great grandchildren, Dave (Doug Weyand), Dan Spychalski, Paige, Thad Whittier, Taylor (Melanie Huey), Shawn Whittier, Brayden, Sawyer Whittier, Travis and Jenna Sietmann; and her great great grandchild Rayleigh Whittier. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
