She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Lankford and Doris Lankford (Phelps); and her siblings, Charles "Chuck" Lankford and Cindy Lankford. She is survived by: her sisters, Carol Gangon and Nancy Sandell; her children, John Lopez (Juliet) and Sarah Reise (Matthew); her close friend Sherman Smith; her pet Daisy; and also, Victoria Mortensen, Tracy Pohl (Jim), Tamara Roberts (Brandon Kotler), Sherman Smith (Jessica Verdesia) and Jessica Smith (William Waild). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Home of Sherman and Kathleen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Kathleen's name may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
