She was predeceased by: her parents, Hartwell Babbitt and Bina Babbitt (Fox); her husband F. Gerald Brooks; her son Coley Brooks; her siblings, Charles Babbitt and Helen Barnard; and her son-in-law John Williams.

She is survived by: her daughter Carol Williams; her grandchildren, Brooke Foote (Jason) and Corey Webster (Corlyn); her great grandchildren, Jacob, Emma, Garrison Foote, Cameron, Connor and Collin Webster; and also, Ted and Gerry Swiercznski. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
