He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Leigh and Cecelia Leigh (Sandal); his wife Beverly Murray Leigh; his son John Murray Leigh; and his sons-in-law, David Hatch and Lee Minier.
He is survived by: his daughters, Valerie Hatch of Dallas and Meredith Minier of Albion; his grandchildren, Coleen Quarles, Garrett Hatch (Rachael) and Marissa Olles (Patrick); his great grandchildren, David, Christian, Benjamin, Alison Quarles, Carolina, Audrey Hatch and Hannah Olles; his great great grandchild Cooper Leigh Quarles; and his sister Patricia Hellert (Hank). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
