It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Estella Dewing of Albion, New York, born in Medina, New York, who passed away on January 22, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Tompkins and Ida Tompkins (Stinson); her siblings, Wesley, Lester, Charles Bennett and Gerry Fletcher; her granddaughter Casey Stinson; and her pet Maddie.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Stinson (Roger) of Albion, Lynn Dewing of Albion and David Dewing (Lorrie) of Medina; her grandchildren, Corie Strickland (Ken) of Albion, Cal Stinson (Terry) of Lyndonville, Chris Stinson (Brandy) of Albion, Clay Stinson (Tiffany) of Albion, Kenny Haylett (Jenn) of Albion, Carie Doty (Ben) of Albion, Katie Meindl (Jason) of Lyndonville, Bobbi Houseman (John) of Lyndonville, Jamie Dewing of Albion and David Dewing Jr. of Medina; her brother Larry Bowen (Dorothy) of Rochester; her sister-in-law Linda Bennett; and her nephew Charlie Bennett Jr. of Watkins Glen. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Stella's name to the Orleans County 4H Fair, 12690 Route 31 Albion, NY 14411.
