He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wilkins and Jessie Wilkins (Slater); and his siblings, Harry (Kay), Helen Dugan (Dick), John (Gertie), Edna Traub (Bob) and Arthur (Dawn).
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Tom (Beata) and Susan Colton (James); his grandchildren, Sarah Muneer (Sal) and Casey Colton (Stefanie); and his great grandchildren, Cameron, Carson Muneer and Remi Colton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
