He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Orden and Edward Van Orden; and his daughter Katie Marie Van Orden. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Van Orden; his children, Brian Van Orden (Kenneth George) and Valerie Garrett (Thomas Dunn); his niece Lauri Buzard (Tommy Rushing); his brothers, William Van Orden (Gretchen) and Phillip Van Orden (Joanne); and his grandchildren, Tracy and Nathan Garrett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins.
The military honors was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the East Shelby Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Eagle Harbor Methodist Church.
