He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Wayne and Marie Sargent (Robinson); his wife Patricia Sargent (Rice); and his siblings, Patricia, Betty, Shirley, Peggy and William.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Sargent (Pam) of Albion and Karla Goddard (Dave) of Greenville, SC; his grandchildren, Stefanie Peruzzini (Jimmy) and Phillip Sargent; and his great grandchildren, Kendall and Kamryn Peruzzini. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
