It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice A. Benfer (Albion, New York), born in Beavertown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Brouse and Helen Brouse (Hendricks); and her husband John. She is survived by: her children, Edward Benfer (Mattea Vella), Derwin Benfer (Ilene), John Benfer (Nora) and Edwina St (Thomas); her siblings, Harold Brouse (Salvanna) and Betty Houtz (Glenn); her grandchildren, Jeff, John, Ashleigh, Brooke, Bobby, Jason and Yvonne; and her great grandchildren, Natalie, Jonny, Adelyn, Maci, Richard IV, Damon and Anna. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
