She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Scarborough and Susan Scarborough (Ritzenthaler); her sister Betty Piedmont; and her sister-in-law Genevieve Cotriss. She is survived by: her husband Edward Cotriss; her daughters, Carol Comfort (James) and Brenda Hand (Paul); her grandchildren, Abigail Klein (Thomas) and Marshall Hand; and her great grandchildren, Olivier and Christophe Klein. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
