She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Wilson and Elvira Pell Wilson; her husband Norman Hackney; her sons, Martin Morrell and Wayne Bombich; and her sister Dorothy Barrett (Wilson).

She is survived by: her daughters, Sylvia Davis (James) of Albion and Cynthia Lawler (late Charles) of Galloway, Ohio.; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Davis Eckert (Eric), James Davis III (Samantha), Christa Severance Richmond (Ronnie Joe), Erin Marie Severance (Ronnie), Anthony Bombich (Jasime), Michael Morrell and Melissa Morrell. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
