We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Mary E. Birk of Albertson, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Mary is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Mary's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Veronica; her brother Lawrence (Donna); and her brother-in-law William Birk. She is survived by: her husband Robert; her siblings, Margaret (Donald) and John (Clare); and her brother-in-law James Birk. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Roslyn Heights Funeral Home (75 Mineola Ave, Roslyn Heights, NY 11577). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Aidan's RC Church (505 Willis Ave, Williston Park, NY 11596).
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations made in Mary's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
