Simpson of Albany, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on September 2, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack McCarthy and Lura Ruland McCarthy; and her husband Gordon Simpson. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Simpson of Albany and Sharon Fronte-Ellithorpe (Dana Ellithorpe) of Albany; her grandson Tyler Fronte (Katie Fronte); her sister-in-law Debbie Downey (Matt Downey); her niece Laura Danz (Tanner Danz); and her nephew Peter Downey (Ally Downey).
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Applebee Funeral Home (403 Kenwood Ave, Delmar, NY 12054). A burial was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Greenville Cemetery (11266 NY-32, Greenville, NY 12083).
