West (Carl), Sandra Gould of Albany, NY and Walter Gould (Michelle) of Winston-Salem, NC; his stepsiblings, Yolandue Sturdivant, Ulyesse Sturdivant, Rita Uzell (Gino), Marcia Gause (Reality), Alicia Sturdivant and Sheena Sturdivant; his uncle Esiah "June" Ingram; his aunts, Mary L. Flake Haynie (James) of Winston-Salem, NC and Geneva Flake Horne of Lilesville, NC; his great-aunt Nora M. Cox of Charlotte, NC; his cousins, Varie "Val" A. Haynie and Angela L. Haynie of Winston-Salem, NC; his aunts and uncles, Ella Mae Walter, Jonsey Watkins, Anne Williams, Jennie Mae Gould, Arthur Gould, William Gould, Walter Gould, Illy Jr. Gould and Phillip Leroy Gould; and his friends, Benny Mackey, Gazell Scott, Sam Ford, Mark Ford and Mother Mayo of New Jerusalem Home. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
His musical talents were cherished by all who knew him, and his contributions to the church community were immeasurable.
