He was predeceased by: his parents, George Armstrong and Helen Armstrong (Walker); his son Christopher B. Armstrong; and his siblings, Christine Clickner, Caroline Caulfield, George Armstrong and James Armstrong.
He is survived by: his wife Diane E. Dugan Armstrong; his daughters, Kristin Armstrong and Dawn Meacham (James); and his grandchildren, Amanda, Hannah Meacham, Morgan Somerville and McKenzie Armstrong. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
