She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Nizman and Alexandra Nizman; her husband Joseph Sawicki; and her son Richard Sawicki. She is survived by: her children, Edward Sawicki (Sheila) and Jeanina Lamanna (Peter); her grandchildren, Nicole Caldwell (Michael), SJ and Andrew Sawicki (Kayleigh); her great grandchildren, Eleanor, Clara, Reid and Jonathan; and her siblings, Janina McCabe (late Ronald) and Cazimir Nizman (Delle).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McVeigh Funeral Home (208 N Allen St, Albany, NY 12206). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Pius X Church (23 Crumitie Rd, Loudonville, NY 12211).
