Thomas Earl Shaffer Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 22, 2024, at the age of 76, Thomas Earl Shaffer in Albany, New York passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas Earl Shaffer to pay them a last tribute.

Though Thomas may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Thomas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Earl Shaffer and Doris Mae Shaffer (Bonesteel). He is survived by: his wife Sharleen A. Shaffer; his children, Slade T. Shaffer (Kendell) and Megan E. Spears (Alan); his grandson Noah Thomas Goulet; his sister Debra Mae Dutcher; and his nieces, Shanna Mae Dutcher Alesio (Justin) and Tara Mae Dutcher Smith (Rhandy). He is also survived by his many, many good friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. (276 Pawling Ave, Troy, NY 12180). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
