In loving memory of Solveig J. Hughes of Albany, New York, born in Bergen, New York, who departed this world on November 30, 2024 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph D. Hughes; and her mother Bestemor (Mor Mor). She is survived by: her brothers, Sigurd and Johann Gripsgard; her children, John Hughes, Margaret Oliveira (Richard Rasmussen) and Bill Hughes; her grandson Nicholas Hughes (Samantha); her great grandchildren, Chase and Brooks; her grandchildren, Christopher Hughes and Tiffany Hughes; her great grandchild Kyle Fortune Junior; her son Steve Hughes (Rebecca); and also, Debbie Workman, Becky Siebert, JoAnn McMahon, Katelyn McMahon, Lindsey McMahon, Sean McMahon and Brenna. She is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her memory.
