Shirley A. McCartan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2025, at the age of 89, Shirley A. McCartan (Albany, New York) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley A. McCartan to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Armstrong and Agnes Kane Armstrong; and her husband J. Kevin McCartan. She is survived by: her children, Bill (Kathy), Kathleen Wissing, Colleen Walter (Jeff) and Kevin (Kimberly Bell); and her grandchildren, Erin McMillen (Brandon), Shannon Fink (Blake), Bill McCartan (Laura Maas), Brian Wissing, Luke Walter, Kiera Wissing, Drew and Brook Harrig. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home (490 Delaware Ave, Albany, NY 12209). A Mass was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the King Church (20 Sumter Ave, Albany, NY 12203). A burial was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at the St. Agnes Cemetery.
