It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sheila Marilyn Goldberg of Albany, New York, who passed away on April 19, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Sheila is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her former husband Terrence O'Neill (Terry); and her parents, Mildred Goldberg and Moe Goldberg. She is survived by: her husband Bill Blumerman; her children, Lisa Blumerman (Kevin Deardorff) and Seth Blumerman (Michelle Parent); her sister Marcia Jacoby (Robert Jacoby); and her cousins, Marla Colarusso (Alan Colarusso) and Dr. Darren Feldman.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Temple Israel Cemetery (1626 Western Ave, Albany, NY 12203). A shiva was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at the Sheila's Home (17 Kensington Pl, Lake Success, NY 11020).
