Roger M. Putman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger M. Putman in Albany, New York, born in Amsterdam, New York, who passed away on September 16, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Kathleen Turnes. He is survived by: his wife Lorna Polmateer Putman; his children, Terra Soucy (Douglas) of Johnstown and Tyler Putman (Rachel) of Gloversville; his siblings, Richard Putman of Leonardtown, MD, Linda Kollar of Johnstown, Martha Nellis (Steven) of Fort Plain and Donna McCabe (Gary) of Wellesley, MA; his grandchildren, Samantha, Madison and Rexton Soucy; and his cousins, English Cream Retriever and Vanna. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Halgas Funeral Home (111 Co Rd 106, Johnstown, NY 12095). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Ephratah Rural Cemetery (216 NY-67, St Johnsville, NY 13452).
Memorial contributions may be made to the CLL Foundation, in care of the funeral home.
