With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard Murphy of Albany, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Richard left this world on November 16, 2024 at the age of 69, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Robert A. Murphy; and also Richard Flanagan. He is survived by: his mother Mary Lourdes Flanagan (Cosenke); his children, Rory (Emma Kipniss) and Megan; his siblings, Robert (Paula), Patricia, Eileen and James (Susan); and his former wife Marybeth Hassett. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, Rich's family kindly requests donations to the rescue organization Out of the Pits, Inc., P.O. Box 2311 Albany, NY 12220, so that other families may share in the joy that Maddie brought him as a rescue dog.
