He was predeceased by: his son Timothy Dantz (Dollie); his great grandchild Lexie; and his sisters, Gail Ellsworth, Frances Murray and Geraldine Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn LaBarge Dantz; his children, Debra Morgan (James) of Stillwater, Trudy Capone (Donald) of Saratoga Springs, Brian Dantz (Leslie) of Stillwater and Stephanie Arpey of Ballston Spa; his grandchildren, James, Matthew, Zachary, David, Jeremiah, Joy, Alexander, Nicholas and Casey; and his great grandchild Chloe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, Inc. (39 S Main St, Mechanicville, NY 12118). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at the Hudson View Cemetery (6 S St, Mechanicville, NY 12118).
