He was predeceased by : his parents, Angelo Restifo and Maria Restifo; his wife Dorothy H. Orloff; his siblings, Joseph Restifo (Rochina), Lena Sangiorgi (Benny), Anthony Restifo (Nancy), Carmella DeFranceso (Joseph), Pauline Lupo (Joseph), John Restifo (Catherine), Rose Rappazzo (Charles), Samuel Restifo (Anna), Anne O'Donnell (John) and Frank Restifo (Frances); and his grandfather Phil.

He is survived by : his nephew Angelo Serafino (Yankee); his daughters, Patricia Kane (Michael J.) and Joanne Judd (Paul); his grandchildren, Aimee Frering (Christopher), Kimberly Judd-Pastiglione, Michael P. Kane (Leyla), Stacie Morris, Brendan Kane and Leanne Stillitano (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Philip Pastiglione, Reed Kane, Noah Stillitano, Liam Pastiglione, Mila Morris, Roen Kane, Anderson Kane, Keegan Frering, Mason Stillitano and Madden Kane; his niece Angela Robillotto; and his godson Mark Gray. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Parish (93 4th Ave, Albany, NY 12202). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, June 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Parish (95 4th Ave, Albany, NY 12202). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, June 12th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (481 Rte 9W, Glenmont, NY 12077).
