Philip John Canestro Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Philip John Canestro (Albany, New York), who passed away on December 16, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond J. Canestro and Pauline Mary Canestro Andreas (Murphy); and his brothers, Dennis James Andreas and Edward Emile Andreas. He is survived by: his siblings, Patricia Canestro of Northampton, MA, Robert Andreas (Stephanie) of Daytona Beach, FL, Michael Canestro (Patricia) of Schodack, Catherine "Cate" Jones of Athens, Douglas Andreas (Cindi) of Charlotte, NC, Denise Veillette (Tim) of Bolton, CT and Karen Bombard (Scott) of Charlotte, NC.; and his nieces and nephews, Gina Law (Robert) of Palenville, Michele Canestro (Matt) of Boston, MA, Page Galster (Blaine) of Portland, CT, Craig Andreas of Albany, Daniel Andreas (Lissa) of Killeen, TX, Austin Andreas of Charlotte, NC, Anthony Canestro of Schodack, Bruce and John Hyatt of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews; and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Schodack Valley Fire Company (1553 Schodack Valley Rd, Castleton-On-Hudson, NY 12033).
