He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter R. Heim and Barbara Cross Heim; and his sister Barbara Nelson (Living Dan) of Wilmington, NC.. He is survived by: his son Pete (Cyndi); his granddaughters, Sofia and Evelyn; and his siblings, Donna (Jim), Steve (Rebecca), Jeff (Eileen), Matt (Kathy), Judy Heim St and Chris (Sue). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers may be made in Pete's memory to the American Cancer Society or the ASPCA.
