He was predeceased by: his parents, George Jessie Schell and Ruth Schell (Fagan); his wife Patricia Ann Dinneen; his stepmother Margaret "Peg" Schell (Ross); and his brother Robert.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela Bennett, Paula Schell (George), Phyllis Moynihan and Patricia Luce (Charles); his grandchildren, Garrett, Paul J. Moynihan (Laura), Meghan, Erica Luce and Sarah Notaro (Justin); and his great grandchildren, Jaymin, Lainey Notaro, Camila, Luna and Paul D. Moynihan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the McVeigh Funeral Home, Inc. (208 N Allen St, Albany, NY 12206). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Church (607 Central Ave, Albany, NY 12206).
