He was predeceased by: his aunt Toini; his son Esa; his grandson George; and his nephew Brandon. He is survived by: his wife Ann Macartney; his daughter Elisa (Henry Dale); his grandsons, Kai (Kriti) and Julian Dale; his daughter Leila; his sister Linda (John Booth); and his nephew Kyle.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Share Winter Foundation, the Alzheimer's Association of Northeastern NY, and The Community Hospice of Albany.
