He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lazetta McCoy and John Ray; his wife Susan Coons; his children, Danielle Benedict, Shane Ray and Savannah Ray; his grandchildren, Raymond Poole, Marty Poole, Nathaniel Ray, Jeffrey Miller, Gage Miller, Jameson Ray and Remington Ray; his great grandchildren, Hayden Poole and Ira Poole; his siblings, Darlene Paul, Sandra Smith, Laura O'Kelly, Michele Ray, Cynthia Costigan, Victoria Rochfort, Lacey Dourcette, Leslie Carisle, Kitt McCoy and Amy Nash; and his children-in-law, Martin Poole, Sr., Jeffrey Miller and Kassandra Hall.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home (490 Delaware Ave, Albany, NY 12209).
