Mary R. Coons Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 1, 2025, at the age of 93, Mary R. Coons of Albany, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Henry and Alice Harvie Henry; her husband Peter J. Coons Jr.; and her siblings, Edward Henry, Doris Hagan and Jane.
She is survived by: her children, Chris, Terry, Peter and Ellen Coons; her grandchildren, Kyle, Shelby, Jacob and Matthew; and her sisters, Carol Anziano and Sally Johnson. She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McVeigh Funeral Home, Inc. (208 N Allen St, Albany, NY 12206). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Parish of Mater Christi (40 Hopewell St, Albany, NY 12208).
