He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Lyon and Rita Kelly Lyon; and his sister Janice Lyon Decker. He is survived by: his wife Mary Beth; his children, Amy Finn (Michael) of Jericho, VT, David Lyon (Christina) of Massapequa, NY and Meghan Madl (Kevin) of Plainfield, IL; his grandchildren, Molly, Mia Finn, Ava Madl and Trevor Lyon; and his siblings, Martha Coursin (Douglas), Elizabeth Boyd (Brent), Christopher Lyon (late Linda) and Stephen Lyon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes (628 N Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church (2001 US-9, Round Lake, NY 12151).
