It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luther M. Bhola (Albany, New York), who passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Beresford Bhola and Georgiana Bhola; his siblings, William, Philip, Elon, Bertley and Beverley; his nephew Lincoln; his niece Georgiana; his son-in-law Audley; and his grandson Preston.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Baird-Bhola; his stepchildren, Francine (Robert), Denise, Anthony, Andrew (Rhonda) and Audrey; his grandchildren, Jasmyn, Austyn, Aaron, Micheal and Allia; his great grandchild Leilani; his brother Malcolm (Jenny); his siblings-in-law, Melvin, Michael, Pat Bhola, Faith and Patsy (Larry); his mother-in-law Elma Small; his friends, Paul, David, William Jr., Sean, Gavin, Mark, Jacqueline, Carmen, Maria, Grace, Elon, Amelia, Rhonda, Cleveland, Evelyn Hercules and Morris Peters; and also Errol (Pastor Yvonne). He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Cannon Funeral Home (2020 Central Ave, Albany, NY 12205). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
