He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Brownell and Ethel Brownell (LeBarron); his wife Janet Brownell (Rudd); his grandchildren, Kristin Kepner, Richard Brownell Jr. and Damon Eppinette; and his siblings, Milton, Charles, Malcolm (Buck), Helen Filkins and Gladys Goodermote.
He is survived by: his children, Ken Jr., Rick Sr., Jeff and Penny; his children-in-law, Peg, Marie, Judy and Ed Kepner; his grandchildren, Stacy Connors, Kyle Brownell, Danielle Brownell, Keith Kepner, Sileata Eppinette, Brian Meadows and Kevin Meadows; his great grandchildren, Quinn Lilac, Ava Connors and Lukas Lilac; and his sister Shirley Cottrell.
