We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2024, at the age of 100, Joshua Salem in Albany, New York, born in New York, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Joshua may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joshua touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Salem and Esther Salem (Elhai); his wife Gloria Rosen; and his siblings, Issac, Hannah, Nina and Betty.
He is survived by: his sons, David and Andrew (Cheryl); and his grandchildren, Benjamin Salem, Nikki Salem and Susan Lord.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Levine Memorial Chapel (649 Washington Ave, Albany, NY 12206). A burial was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
