She was predeceased by: her spouse Cy Cassidy; her son-in-law Bill McCarthy Sr.; and her parents, Peg Maher (McDermott) and Bill Maher. She is survived by: her children, Peg Brearton (Jim), Lynn Overacker (Jim), Terry Cassidy (Peg), Maureen McCarthy, Kelly Wetherbee (Jeff) and Kevin Cassidy (Robin); her grandchildren, Jessica Brearton, Jim Brearton (Nadia), Meghan Alonzo (Kristin), Kate Jackstadt (Christian), Michael Cassidy (Shanna), Daniel Cassidy, Bill McCarthy (Mary), John McCarthy, Emma Maher Wetherbee and Kevin Cassidy (Rachel); and her great grandchildren, Thomas Brearton, Darcy Joan Brearton, Abby, Paul Winaroski, Kiernan Alonzo, Tessa, Charlotte Jackstadt, Michael, Patrick, Teddy Cassidy, Will McCarthy III, Paige, Kellan Egan and Maeve Cassidy. She is also survived by children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and in-laws.
