She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay K. Smith and Eleanor Smith (Ertel); and her husband Jeal. She is survived by: her sons, Joseph (Monica Brown) and Jeal Sutherland, Jr.; her grandchildren, Leah, Corinne Sutherland, Bobby, Stephen and Michael Bikowitz; and her siblings, Sandra, Richard Smith, Sue and Jay. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY 12205). A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Memory Gardens Cemetery (983 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Albany, NY 12205).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Jenise's honor, to any Nature or Wildlife Charity of choice.
