It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet Uhler of Albany, New York, born in Ellenburg Depot, New York, who passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond LeClair and Florence LeClair (Burgoyne); and her husband Gordon Uhler. She is survived by: her children, Donald Uhler (Kathleen Brannon), Daniel Smith-Uhler (Robert), Douglas Uhler (Julie) and Julia Rubinstein (Michael); her grandchildren, Gwendolyn Pietrantuono (Matthew), Bailey Freemantle (Timothy), Jazmin Uhler and Gordon Uhler; and her great grandchildren, Luca and Giovanni Pietrantuono.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home Inc. (294 Mannix Rd, Peru, NY 12972). A Mass was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Church (179 Smith St, Dannemora, NY 12929). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Cemetery N.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Saranac Volunteer Fire Department.
