She was predeceased by: her mother Catherine Moran; her aunt Margaret; her husband Edward E. Hirt; and her son Joseph Covey. She is survived by: her aunts and uncles, Thomas and Bernard Moran; her children, Cathleen Owens and Richard Covey; her daughter-in-law Karen Covey; her stepchildren, Deborah Hirt, Claudia Toffel, Edward "Ned" Hirt (Judy) and Matthew Hirt; her grandchildren, Frank (Barbara), Jason, Shawn Owens (Colleen), Justin, Matthew, Anna Hirt and Ryan Toffel; and her nephew Joseph Vecchio. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (343 New Karner Rd, Albany, NY 12205).
