He was predeceased by: his parents, James Charles and Mary Irene Erwin Tunny; his wife Barbara Ann Palmer Tunny; and his brothers, Erwin Tunny, James Tunny Jr. and Rev. Kenneth Tunny.
He is survived by: his children, Michael P. Tunny (Praise) and Karen Tunny Lambert (Jason); his grandchildren, Claire, Stella and Jack; and his siblings-in-law, Winifred Tunny, Anastasia Tunny and John D. Palmer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
