With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frank A. Szemplinski Jr. of Albany, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2024 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank, Sr. Szemplinski and Veronica Szemplinski; his wife Carol A. VanWormer-Szemplinski; and his brother Alex Szemplinski. He is survived by: his sons, Frank Szemplinski, III (Sheri), John Szemplinski (Sandra) and Shane Szemplinski (Carm); his grandchildren, Justin, Haylie, Cameron, Rocco, Alexis, Ruby and Rhett; his brothers, Charles and Vince Szemplinski; and his pet Zero. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (181 Troy-Schenectady Rd, Watervliet, NY 12189). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
