He was predeceased by: his parents, William Barkowski and Mary Brozowski Barkowski. He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Vavourakis (Adam) of Athens, Greece, Sharon Sikora of New Orleans and Susan Barkowski-Clark (Marty) of Connecticut; his close friend Terry Glenn; his extended family, Marc, Mary and Madison Glenn; and also, Gary, Chris Philips and Noah Sausville.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home (2020 Central Ave, Albany, NY 12205). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 12:15 PM at the St. Joseph's Church (600 State St, Schenectady, NY 12305).
