She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kluska and Caroline Kluska; her husbands, Richard Bubniak and Carlton Walker; her brother Joseph Kluska; her stepson Carlton Walker, Jr.; and her son-in-law James Thornton, Sr..

She is survived by: her children, Claudia Thornton, Barbara Cafarelli (Robert), Michael Bubniak (Virginia) and Timothy Bubniak (Patricia); her grandchildren, Kimberly Ann Thornton (Nick Spagnoli), James Thornton, Lisa Schweigert (Michael), Todd Cafarelli (Courtney Stone), Michele Fry (Jonathan), Cynthia Sparry (Craig), Mark Bubniak and Tara Voeltz (Ryan); and her great grandchildren, Lilybet McLain, Ashton, Rhys Cafarelli, Samuel Spagnoli, Noah Fry, Caroline and Hunter Voeltz.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Historic St. Mary's Church (10 Lodge St, Albany, NY 12207). A Mass was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Our Lady of Angels Cemetery (1389 Central Ave, Albany, NY 12205).

I just found out the location and physical conditions are not on my side because I am still walking with a cane, Know that my heart is crying for you and yours and your Mom is definitely in a better place. It is so difficult because no matter how old you or they are its still leaves you feeling like an orphan. God bless.”
