It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David McKinney Sr. of Albany, New York, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on January 18, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy McKinney and Fred McKinney Jr.; and his siblings, Diane McKinney, Donna Hudson and Peter McKinney.
He is survived by: his children, Dana McKinney, Debo McKinney, Davon Simmons, Davetta McKinney, Davin McKinney and Janiaja Williams; and his siblings, Pennie McKinney, Barbara Puryear (John), Nina Billue and Michael McKinney. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
